However, it is important for applicants to be prepared to pay for this if requested to do so.  The procedures and costs for background checks vary from territory to territory, and GCR will provide the requirements to complete such checks to the applicants.  NOTE: Having a criminal or police record will not necessarily mean that you cannot become a Direct Dealer, however, the GCR needs to have this information in order to assess risks.  The GCR reserves the right to reject anyone without cause, at the discretion of the GCR, and there are no refunds of any application fees.
3. One Time Setup Fee. If your application to become a GCR DD is accepted by the GCR you will be required to pay a one time setup fee of $300 USD.

1. Filling out an application to become a Direct Dealer (DD) and paying any fees to the GCR in relation to becoming a DD, in the purview of the GCR, does not necessarily mean that your application will be approved.  A DD Applicant is defined as any person or organization applying to the GCR to become a DD.

2. Any and all fees paid by the DD Applicant to the GCR in relation to applying to become a DD, and all fees that are paid in order to be a DD in good standing with the GCR, are non-refundable.  In addition, the GCR reserves the right to suspend relations with any DD and any DD Applicant at any time without any refunds of any fees.  Thus DD’s and DD Applicants understand and agree that they will forfeit any and all monies paid to the GCR in relation to application or relationship as a DD. DD’s and DD Applicants understand and agree that the GCR may suspend relations with any DD or any DD Applicant at any time, without providing any reason, at the sole discretion of the GCR, and that in such cases the DD or DD Applicant will not be entitled to any refunds for any fees paid to the GCR.

4. DD’s and DD Applicants understand and agree that at the time of the application the GCR will use reasonable efforts to confirm that applicants are properly registered with governmental authorities as may be required in the territories where the DD’s and DD Applicants propose to do business with Dot Money and the GCR.  DD’s and DD Applicants understand and agree that the GCR is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, and as such, the GCR will not be held responsible for any GCR errors in accepting, and then later suspending, any relationships with any DD’s and DD Applicants, that may result from later discovery that the DD was required to be registered or required to follow new or existing rules, regulations and laws in their own territories, and if there was any failure to do so.

5. DD’s and DD Applicants understand and agree that the GCR may perform a background search on DD’s and DD Applicants at any time in order to monitor and ascertain any risks in the relationship with the DD’s or DD Applicants.  DD’s and DD Applicants give their full permission for the GCR to conduct both light and intensive background checks.  DD’s and DD Applicants understand and agree to cooperate with the GCR in such background investigations, and that failure to do so may result in rejection or suspension of DD’s and DD Applicants.  DD’s and DD Applicants understand and agree that the existence of any kind of past criminal record of DD’s and DD Applicants do not necessarily mean that the GCR will reject their application or exclude them from DD status.  The GCR simply uses these background checks in order to understand and assess any potential risks from working with certain DD’s, thus even those having past criminal records will be considered.

This page is for those who would like to become a Global Currency Reserve (GCR) Agency (GCRA). A GCRA is typically an office with people that represent the GCR, and conduct business on behalf of the GCR within specific territories.  GCRA’s are privately owned businesses that assist the GCR in carrying out it’s global mission.  Owners and employees of GCRA’s are the ambassadors of the GCR. GCRA’s are paid a percentage of the annual profits from the entire GCR organization. GCRAs may also create additional revenue streams by bringing in new business, subject to the approval of the GCR, and GCRA’s have important roles to play in the decision making processes of the GCR.

Some of the important missions of GCR Agencies include:
– Ensuring that Dot Money and the GCR and it’s relationships in the territory are operating in accordance with the proper laws, regulations and licencing and registration requirements in the territory.
– Acting as a liaison between GCR and the government of the territory.
– Conducting business on behalf of GCR in the territory which may include holding the regional bank accounts of the GCR in order to facilitate retail trading.
– Acting as a liaison between the GCR and business interests in the territory.
– Assistance with Dot Money marketing in the territory.

WHO SHOULD APPLY
The GCR gives all applicants consideration, however, the benchmarks and requirements to receive an appointment to act as a GCR Agency are high.  GCR Agencies are required to carry the costs of their own operations during their respective launches.  The minimum costs vary from territory to territory, and the estimated minimum start-up costs associated with being appointed as a GCR Agency in a developed country are in excess of $250,000 USD for the first year.  Suitable applicants include ordinary people and businesses that can demonstrate they have the financial resources to commit a minimum of $500,000 USD towards their agency, with the understood possibility of losing the entire amount if adverse circumstances should arise, or if Dot Money and the Global Currency Reserve fails to launch.

The financial commitment to be a GCR Agency is high, but the potential profits are limitless.  Ideal applicants for a GCR Agency are those who already have substantial financial resources or existing businesses, and infrastructure that would be beneficial to their GCR Agency.  The GCR will give preference to Agency applicants who represent, are associated with, or engaged in certain types of businesses.  The types of businesses and business owners that the GCR is interested in having a GCR Agency relationship with include, but are not limited to, existing:

1. Banks, Brokerage Firms, Investment Funds.
2. Commodity Traders & Exchanges.
3. Currency Traders & Exchanges, and Virtual Currency Exchanges.
4. Credit card or other automated payment gateway businesses.
5. Ordinary people and groups of people in remote, underdeveloped and under-serviced areas, where they may be the only people able to conduct and promote the business of Dot Money and the GCR.
6. Law firms and lawyers.
7. Any type of existing businesses or business owners that can demonstrate they have the infrastructure and financial means to act on behalf of the GCR.

It is important to remember that a GCR Agency is an appointment by the GCR, and that it can be revoked by the GCR, according to the terms of the appointment, which are negotiated on a case by case basis.

3. One Time Setup Fee. If your application to become a GCR Agency is accepted by the GCR you will be required to pay a one time setup fee of a minimum of $5,000 USD, with a projected average cost of $120,000 USD licensing cost per territory.  The setup fee and licensing cost is determined by the GCR depending upon the territory being requested and other parameters.
